Course description

Communication Designers shape our world through their work on websites, interfaces, brochures, books, posters, and trademarks. Their designs are not just functional; they also connect with us emotionally. This dual focus means they tackle a wide range of challenges. For instance, they determine the features that make a user interface intuitive. They design packaging that highlights a product's best qualities. They create diagrams that simplify complex information. They choose images that capture the essence of music for concert posters. They develop creative concepts to help businesses stand out. Future designers won't just present others' products. They'll work in interdisciplinary teams to create new content, products, and services from the ground up. At Rhine-Waal University, we emphasize this interdisciplinary approach. Our Communication Design program collaborates closely with experts in IT, psychology, natural sciences, engineering, and economics. This collaboration ensures our students are well-prepared for the diverse demands of the field.
