Course description

Translational medical research stands at the crossroads of laboratory work, clinical practice, and the healthcare system. Its goal is to enhance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Key to its success are innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercial application. In the Master Translational Medical Research (TMR) program, students learn to connect life sciences research with clinical application through a dynamic, two-way process. This approach focuses on creating new methods for diagnosing and treating diseases. Additionally, students explore how entrepreneurship and innovation drive effective translation from research to real-world solutions. The TMR program lays a solid foundation for those aiming for a science-oriented doctoral phase and a career in scientific research.
