Computational Methods in Engineering
Subjects: Engineering;Technology
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Today, engineering without computer-assisted planning and calculation methods is unimaginable. In biomedical engineering, these methods enhance diagnostics and medical condition assessments. For vehicle navigation systems, they streamline data processing for route planning, vehicle localization, and guidance. Computer-aided simulation not only enabled the construction of the world's tallest building but also boosted its energy efficiency. Thus, modeling and simulation programs have become essential tools for planning and analysis across various fields. At Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Master’s degree program in Computational Methods in Engineering is interdisciplinary. Graduates gain advanced knowledge in mathematics, computer science, and mechanics, equipping them to tackle issues in diverse work areas. The program is taught in English, with optional modules available in German.
