Course description
The Environmental and Resource Management study programme tackles today's pressing environmental challenges with an integrated approach. Understanding that no single discipline can address these issues alone, the programme merges insights from several interconnected fields. Students engage in fundamental technical subjects, natural sciences, sociology, and economics. Building on this foundation, the curriculum delves into specific topics like resource protection techniques, environmental planning concepts, risk and impact assessment, and the socioeconomic implications of environmental decisions. Exempted from this regulation are only students from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland), United States of America, or students who completed a secondary level degree in English in one of the above mentioned countries. For applicants from Germany: Usually, the Abitur certificate is sufficient proof of English language skills.
