Our office in Berlin

Our office is located in Berlin Mitte, in the Haus Friedrichstadt building, at the corner of Friedrichstraße with Leipziger Straße and just a few steps from Stadtmitte metro station.
Our location is key to partners as we are near the Federal Foreign Office, which enables us to attend events and discussions and maintain ourselves updated about the latest information on visa processes in Germany. We are also very accessible to our customers in case you want to resolve an issue in person. We are near major tourist sites, such as Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz and Gendarmenmarkt.
As most of the surviving architectural structures in Berlin, our building, Haus Friedrichstadt, has an extensive and interesting history.
Built in 1935, the house was originally and still is an office and commercial building. The construction’s steel skeleton designed by Gerhard Mensch can be seen through its façade in the symmetrical lines. Although the exterior is simple, you will still be able to find a foyer and staircase that are equally modest, but designed with noble materials. While also check the ceiling ornaments in Art Deco style, which have been preserved.
Haus Friedrichstadt was thought to be modern for its time and the building was used by the National Socialists and later on by the GDR, when it hosted the Café Stadtmitte.
The construction was damaged in the II World War and went through some restorations in the 1950s and 1990s. In 1999 the building was renovated and kept the features we can see today.
Since 2018, Haus Friedrichstadt is Expatrio’s home.
