Germany is the most populous country in the European Union. There are four cities that contribute to this statistic presenting more than one million residents. Berlin, the number one on that list, is the largest city, with more than 3.5 people living there. Hamburg is the next one, with about 1.8 million residents, followed by Munich, with about 1.3 million inhabitants, and Cologne with just over 1 million residents.

Regardless of the size, German cities are full of history. The majority of them have a preserved historical center, where you can find beautiful architecture in churches, town halls, towers and city walls. Moreover, cities in Germany offer a wide range of museums and cultural activities for its residents and visitors. You will be able to find a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs.
