The ISK (Institut für Sprachen und Kommunikation e.V.) was founded in 1997 and is now one of Hannover’s largest language schools. More than 1,500 participants learn German and other languages at the ISK each year. You will find our 4 locations directly in the downtown area of Hannover. We have more than 35 modernly equipped seminar rooms with E-projectors and interactive whiteboards, a schoolyard and a café with free wifi and a reading corner.

Pro Jahr lernen mehr als 1.500 Personen Deutsch und andere Sprachen am ISK. Unsere 4 Standorte liegen direkt in der City von Hannover. Our intensive courses are held in the morning and are designed primarily for participants who are accustomed to learning and who learn quickly. At our institute, you will learn effectively and successfully within a short period of time.
The German courses for university studies prepare students to take such examinations as TestDaF, telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule, Studienkolleg or DSH. A mock exam is used in all these courses to intensively practice with respective examination format.
Our service packages make it possible to combine the intensive courses (language levels A1-C1) and the examination course with the guarantee of a spot to take the TestDaF, including individual advising.
We recommend that company employees, students and doctoral candidates take advantage of our evening courses. These courses feature flexible learning concepts and individual learning support so that you can easily combine language school with your job in a way that suits you best.
In addition to German lessons, the ISK offers a varied cultural program with numerous excursions and events to give you an opportunity to discover the city and region of Hannover. The regular Meet & Greet focuses on communication in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim is for you to get to know the other language students better and to put your new language skills directly into actual practice.
